With the changes of globalization, it was a primary need to have a computer society in our school. Mr. K.M.D.S Jayathilake, a former teacher of Dharmapala Vidyalaya played an important role in implementing of a computer society and a laboratory. With the teachers Mr. Jayantha Jayasundara Bandara and Mr. Kalupahana and the students of math's section, he arranged requisite steps to get this objective bloomed. At this occasion, Past Pupils Association rendered a great service by donating computers with the helps of DFCC Bank. Later, some computers were provided by the Ministry Of Education.

As a consequence present students of Dharmapala Vidyalaya have been privileged to computer society obtaining an opportunity for upgrading their computer literacy.
